EXCITING NEWS!Webinar: Information Session - Online Postgraduate Diploma in Global Health Research 26 January, 2 & 9 February 2023 | 12:00 pm GMT The University of Oxford’s fully online Postgraduate Diploma in Global Health Research will equip students with real-world skills for designing and implementing impactful global health research, wherever they are in the world. You will discover best practices in global health research studies, with a specific focus on diseases of poverty, and the mechanisms, methods and processes required to implement high quality, safe and ethical research. Weekly lessons will include pre-recorded interactive lectures, discussion forum tasks, live virtual classes, and asynchronous one-to-one tutorials, and are structured to be as flexible as possible for busy professionals. Over four terms, you will gain the experience, skills and confidence to put what you have learnt into practice to tackle ongoing and emerging global health challenges and become the next generation of leaders in health research.
When does the course start? The course will begin in October 2023. How long will it take to complete the course? The course is taught over four terms and takes 14 months to complete. What are the fees for this course? The fees are £12,880. Are bursaries available? Yes, bursaries will be available for up to 30% of students. A bursary will cover the cost of course fees plus the cost of an English language test, if required. How much study time will be required each week? You should expect to allocate 20 hours a week for this course. This includes actively participating in each lesson by studying pre-recorded interactive lectures, responding to tasks, attending live class, completing self-guided reading and reflection, and preparing for assessment.
